Texas Med-Spas Ride a 2026 Boom — as the Rules Tighten

The medical spa has become one of the fastest-growing corners of the beauty business, and Texas is squarely in the middle of the boom.

Industry benchmarks for 2026 point to roughly 18 percent growth in the number of med-spa locations and about 8 percent revenue growth, with much of the momentum coming from new openings rather than gains at existing shops. Analysts peg the U.S. med-spa market at more than $21 billion in recent years, with projections that it could approach $78 billion by the early 2030s.

What Texans are booking

The most-requested treatments this year lean toward high-performance skin rejuvenation — microneedling paired with exosome serums is a standout — along with no-downtime body contouring and sculpting.

But growth in Texas comes with guardrails. State rules continue to hinge on physician oversight and delegation, meaning even highly trained clinicians cannot perform many aesthetic procedures without meeting Texas-specific supervision requirements. For operators, keeping pace with demand means keeping pace with compliance.
