Michelin unveiled its 2026 Texas selection on Oct. 8, adding three one-star restaurants and bringing the state to 19 starred establishments.

The new stars went to Fabrik in Austin, a vegan restaurant promoted from Bib Gourmand status; Goldee's Bar-B-Q in Fort Worth, also promoted; and Kappo Kappo in Austin, new to the guide. Unlike the ceremonies held in Houston in 2024 and 2025, Michelin published this year's list by press release.

Bib Gourmands and recommendations

Six restaurants earned new Bib Gourmands: Bar Buena, Khói Barbecue, Kitchen Rumors, Murray's Pizza & Wine and Xolo in Houston, and Resident Taqueria in Dallas. Sixteen restaurants were newly added to the Recommended list, including Din Ho Chinese BBQ, Levant BBQ, Sushi Horiuchi and MĀBO.

The full selection

The 2026 guide covers 149 restaurants: 19 starred, 54 Bib Gourmands, 76 Recommended and five Mindful Voices, spanning 30 cuisine types.
